Maria Adriana Roscio is the owner, director and instructor at New England Dance with over 40 years of experience. Born in Uruguay, S. America, came to the USA at the age of 5 and began professional dance training at the age of 7. Adriana has been professionally trained by the founder of the Hartford Ballet and Albano Ballet Company, Joseph Albano and Balacnhine ballerina, Julia Fredrick, and had performed with the Albano Ballet Company as a soloist performer for over 35 years. She augmented her dancing at Broadway Dance Center, Steps in New York City, Martha Graham modern and Russian ballet. Her training includes Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Tap, Modern, Drama, and Music. Adriana has performed all over the state-country of Brazil, Chicago, CT, NY, FL, CA and Mexico with the Albano Ballet Company, various professional dance teams and as a backup dancer. Professional dance teams, include CBA basketball team owned and operated by Miami Dolphins. Arena football teams owned and operated by Madison Square Garden. Some of my credits include performances at Mohegan Sun Arena and Cabaret Theater, Bushnell, Music videos, Sergio Franchie’s Cancer Festival, performed in the opera Ruddigore as a hornpipe dancer and toured with Sweet Sensation freestyle artist, under United Rhythms Dance and Entertainment which recently performed for MTV. Adriana currently is touring with music artist Stephanie Bennett as assistant choreographer and back up dancer which just performed. Adriana is also performing in the musical Stand Up and Speak Out. She has also been involved on an international level, representing the USA for International Dance Open in Zegrab, Croatia, Hungary, Panama and Austria as an international judge. Adriana is the owner, director and choreographer for New Englands Nutcracker. Adriana is currently modeling, acting and instructing for Tina Kiniry management, formerly John Casablanca Modeling agency.
