RECITAL 2010 PICTURES

GO! DANCE CONVENTION

Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday!

Recital dates are listed below.  They may perform in more then one recital day although most pre-school classes only perform once.  We should have the recital schedule by March so you will know what day/days your child will be performing. We will also have the recital/rehearsal rules and regulations up on our website in the next month (they will also be available at the school). Please read them carefully. Keep in mind that children are not to wear any jewelry on stage (unless it’s part of the costume) so if you have it in mind to have your child’s ears pierced it might be a good idea to wait until after recital or with enough time to be able to remove the studs. I just wanted to give everyone a heads up because this seems to be an issue each year.

Statements are included in this newsletter.  Your costume totals are listed on the statement. Costume totals include tax. To figure out your costume balances subtract the costume deposit made from the total of the costume. If you are not sure of your balance the front desk has a spreadsheet listing all the balances.  Feel free to ask anyone at the front desk.  The statement also includes the yearly tuition fee minus any payments made.  Please continue to make your monthly payments as you normally would.  If you have any questions regarding your statement please contact Natalia at natalia@theballerina.com. IF THERE IS NO COSTUME BALANCE ON YOUR STATEMENT THEN NO COSTUME WAS ORDERED.

Costume balances are due in the month of February.  We will start handing out costumes, assuming they have come in, in February.  Please be aware that if you are not up to date with your tuition, even if you've paid your costume balance, you will not receive your costume.  All costumes include tights, accessories and props.  The teachers may hold onto the props until recital time so that they don't get lost.  You are responsible for any alterations the costume may need.  Please check your costumes as soon as you receive them and report any problems to the teacher RIGHT AWAY.  If problems are not reported right away we may not have enough time to exchange the costume.  For this reason it is imperative that tuition and costume balance is paid on time.

Payment via credit card can be made for tuition, costumes, etc, through our website.  Go to theballerina.com and click on the “payments” link.

We will be checking the spelling of all the children’s names. Their names will appear on the back of our t-shirts.  The front of the shirt will have our recital theme.  If you are not approached by your Childs teacher for the correct name spelling feel free to ask.

In case of inclement weather you may check the status of the school closing by calling the school and listening to the recording or checking on our web site, theballerina.com.   We DO NOT necessarily follow the Rocky Hill school system so please check with us.  Please remember that you CAN make up classes that you missed by coming to another class of the same age group.  If you are interested, see the front desk for a schedule.

Solo’s, Duet’s, Trio’s, & Mother/Daughter lessons begin January 15TH.  Please check with your teacher on the exact start date and time.
